POE BASED FILLER MASTERBACH
GENERAL INFORMATION
These are polypropylene compositions filled with calcium carbonate (Calcite, CaCO3). Polyolefin elastomers are materials formed by the joining of carbon chains. They are typically created by polymerizing olefins or alkenes. The most important examples are polypropylene and polyethylene. The ethylene content in the chain structure determines the degree of elasticity. Polyolefin elastomer is highly elastic and resistant to puncturing. It has good optical properties and a very low seal initiation temperature. It prevents slipping and increases the coefficient of friction. It is impact-resistant even at low temperatures. In the industry, it is advantageous in the production of plastic and rubber equipment, ease of shaping, ease of recycling in scrap processes, ease of coloring, impact resistance, and low density.
